DECRETO 1351 DEL 22 DE AGOSTO DE 2016 MINISTERIO DE
COMERCIO, INDUSTRIA Y TURISMO
ARTÍCULO 2.2.3.5.2.5. Presentación de ofertas de suministro. Podrán ser presentadas por cualquier persona natural o jurídica establecida en el territorio nacional. Los interesados tendrán un plazo de cinco días (5) - contados a partir de la publicación de la versión no reservada de la solicitud de inclusión, modificación o exclusión de materiales e insumos de la lista nacional de escaso abasto para el sector textil y confecciones en la plataforma electrónica del Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo - para incorporar en la misma las ofertas de suministro de materiales o insumos. Tales ofertas podrán contener objeciones a los argumentos presentados por el solicitante.

Environmental Protection Laws
OPPORTUNITYColombia has several environmental protection laws that apply to the textile industry. Some of the most important laws and regulations include:
Decree 4741 of 2005: This decree establishes the standards for the management of textile waste in Colombia. Establishes requirements for the handling, storage, transportation and disposal of textile waste generated by the textile industry.
Resolution 909 of 2008: This resolution establishes the standards for emissions into the atmosphere in Colombia. It sets limits on the amount of pollutants that can be released into the air from industrial activities, including textile manufacturing.
Resolution 601 of 2006: This resolution establishes the standards for water quality in Colombia. It sets limits on the amount of pollutants that can be released into bodies of water from industrial activities, including textile manufacturing.
Decree 1299 of 2008: This decree establishes the requirements for the environmental licensing of industrial activities. Describes the procedures that textile companies must follow to obtain environmental permits and the environmental impact studies that must be carried out.
These laws and regulations can be taken as an opportunity for the entrepreneurship considering that complying with these may be a support to generate an affective and environmentally conscious company culture.
