Michael Porter´s five generic strategies

Because our company is between types 4 and 5 in the Porter model, which means that we need to have a high bargaining power from both suppliers and customers. This could indicate that the company is in a situation in which suppliers have control over our inputs, which could affect different areas. At the same time, customers also have a high power over us, so it would affect us in the economic part, such as the reduction in prices and the demand for our products.

In conclusion, our company faces challenges due to the pressure exerted by our customers and suppliers. To keep our company standing we require new strategies for the proper management of business with suppliers and to satisfy the demands of customers efficiently and effectively.
